Pig ‘N’ Whistle Indooroopilly is an iconic British-style pub and sports bar located in Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.

A casual, family-friendly venue popular for hearty food, a wide range of drinks and live sport in a realm inspired by old British tradition featuring Antique decorations, Pendant and chandelier lighting, a stylish wooden interior with booth seating and lead light windows.

Now 27 years into its journey, the venue remains just as excited to welcome guests as it was when the first guests arrived in 1999.

Our story so far

When Pig ‘N’ Whistle Indooroopilly first opened its doors in 1999, it was the first Pig ‘N’ Whistle venue established in Brisbane by the Mantle Group, the first of the popular Pig ‘N’ Whistle family of pubs around Brisbane.

Since that first day, the aim has been to bring a slice of traditional British pub culture to Brisbane – complete with hearty British and Australian-inspired food, pints of ale, relaxed indoor and outdoor seating, and a lively atmosphere.

Nestled at the doorstep of Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, the venue is perfectly placed for dropping in and pulling up a stool in one of the cosy dining rooms, lounge or garden courtyard to enjoy hearty bites, sumptuous sips and good conversation.

Pig ‘N’ Whistle Indooroopilly is the perfect spot for casual diners, cocktail parties, birthdays, engagement parties, corporate functions and Christmas parties.

Trivia Night takes place on Tuesdays, while High Teas are served daily from 11am – 4pm with a curated selection of premium teas.

If sports are your passion, it’s covered. All live sports are screened on HD TVs, including NRL, AFL and Rugby. It’s also a lively destination for special occasions, including ANZAC Day, St Patrick’s Day, St Andrew’s Day, New Year’s Eve and Melbourne Cup Day.
